Brielle is 6 Months Old!
Where did the time go? I can remember the excitement as we woke up early on March 26 and headed to the hospital to deliver our sweet little girl. Now she's 6 months old! She seems to be right on track developmentally. Her doctor was surprised that she is sitting on her own (but her cousin Emma, 3 weeks older, has been doing that for quite a while). This week she also started pulling up on all fours, gearing up for crawling, oh no!!! With Wes I was so ready for him to crawl, but this time around I'd like a bit more time. She is oh so happy, she hardly ever fusses and just likes to be around people. She is especially enamored with her brother. She sleeps 11- 12 hours at night (in the same room as Wes) and also takes three naps during the day. She is now a great sleeper, and eater, too. She really hasnt had much of a reaction to starting baby food, the only one she's not fond of so far is peas (me neither, girlie). I find myself calling her sis, often, because that is what Wes calls her. In the last month he has taken much more interest in her, as well, starting to "play" with and "talk" to her, yay. She weighed in at 19 pounds 4 ounces (95%) and measuring 28 inches long (off the chart). We love our little girl.

Bass Lake 2011
We were able to join Kurt's family for one weekend of their annual trip to Bass Lake, it was a blast. Wes loved the boat rides and the time he got to spend with all the family. He adores his cousin Morgan, they always have fun together.

We got to ride to Millers Burgers on the lake for lunch...
New cousins, Noah and Brielle (Brielle is two months older, look how tall Noah is!)
The immediate family... Papa, Yaya, Uncle Kyle, Mama, Dadda, Wes and Sis (In Weston's terms)

Magic Mountain
About a month ago my wonderful mother in law, aka "Yaya", gave me a ticket to take Wes to Magic Mountain. It was Wes' first time and we had a great afternoon date, just the two of us (which we don't get to do too much anymore). Of course, we rode the three trains multiple times. We also 'flew' an airplane, 'drove' a jeep, shared a milk shake and met a bear. And my big boy Weston (who started potty training the week before) had zero accidents! Thanks Yaya, we had a wonderful time.
