Park Pictures

A couple of weeks ago Katherine and I walked to this little playground right around the corner. I snapped a few sweet pictures of Ethan and Wes playing in the grass.

Swimming

Whenever Daddy is home, we go swimming. Wes loves it. This time we even tried the spa for the first time. Wes really loved floating in his floatie with the bubbles on.

Camping!

Last week we went up to Bishop to go camping with Kurt's work. We were super excited when the temperature cooled as we got closer. Little did we know that would mean it would be freezing, literally, during the night. (We only lasted one night) Nonetheless, Wes did enjoy playing in the tent as we unpacked, he loved the noise it made while he crawled around.

Walker

After watching his friend Ethan do this so great the other day, Wes started walking using his walker like a pro. Here he is having fun showing off for Dawn.

Messing Around on Saturday

The other morning after taking a walk we sat on our bench outside and just hung out before heading out for our Saturday morning breakfast at Dinks. Here are a few fun moments I captured on video (of course Wes got very distracted when the camera came out, but its still cute).

Soooo Tired

The other day I took Wes to visit my friends at school and left when it was obvious he was ready for bed. I had a bit of a walk to the car so I put him in the stroller and as soon as we got into the sunlight he bended over in half and rode all the way to the car like that. I just had to take a picture, it was so funny and cute. I tried to move around to the other side and take a better picture but he lifted his head and looked at me as if to say, "Mom, can't you tell I'm tired here, what the heck are you doing?" So we loaded up and he was asleep before I even got out of the lot. I wonder what people were thinking if they saw us walking out the car with Wes folded in half like that.

6 Months!

Whaaaat! How is it possible that six months has gone by? Wes is up to all sorts of craziness, crawling, sitting, standing, trying to climb, starting to walk while holding on, eating baby food (tried peas today, he nearly threw up, it was hilarious, I'll try to record it next time), responding to the word "no", finally laughing more, and just all around having fun. Here are his six month pictures (a little late, oops). Thought it would get easier to take these but now he is trying to eat the paper, as you can see =). We tried distracting him with a toy, which worked, but hid his smile, oh well, they're still cute pictures.
