Its true

I've always heard that the things that gross you out your entire life won't gross you out when they come from your own child... I never believed it. But now I know its true, the other night my sweet little boy just wouldn't go to sleep. I fed him at 3 am and it was now 4:30 and he was restless, so I picked him up and thought maybe if I cuddled with him in bed he might fall asleep and I could get a little bit more rest before the next feeding. Well, he was really enjoying the cuddling when all of a sudden, out of no where, Wes threw up all over my face.... and the only thing that upset me was that he might have an upset tummy, not that his vomit was all over my face and shoulders. I realize that I might have felt differently if it got in my mouth (thank God it was closed when it happened) but nothing he does really grosses me out, so it is true!

We are slowly but surely adjusting to life with each other and settling in to more of a routine. Wes is getting more alert and starting to nap a little bit more regularly as well, praise the Lord. (He's napping right now in his swing, I love that thing!). Here is a sweet picture of him napping on Nana's shoulder (his favorite napping position).
