Brielle is 2 Months Old!

Time is flying already. Brielle is now two months old and things are really starting to get into a good groove for me. It was so hard at first (thats not to say they're not hard now, its just getting more normal) and now things are more routine. Brielle weighed in at 12 pounds 13 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long, both in the 90%. She is a very happy girl and is right on track developmentally. She even surprised the dr with her early rolling skills (just like her brother, does that mean she'll be crawling at five months like him, too?? Yikes). She smiles and talks much more than I remember Wes doing at this age, all in all she hardly ever cries.
I know this picture is blurry, but it looks like such a cute smile I still had to post it. Wes was entertaining her while I took the pictures, she is really starting to notice him and watch what he's up to when he's nearby.
Wes is doing great as a big brother. While he seemed to really regress in the first month after Brielle's arrival with almost constant screaming and tantrums, in the last month he has done a 180 and is maturing. His vocabulary is increasing tremendously, and he is using words more and more without being prompted. His tantrums have also dropped dramatically. He just had his first ear infection in a year (the tube fell out of his right ear a while ago, hopefully we wont have the same problems again) and he actually took his medicine without a fight twice a day, yippee. Some things, like cleaning up, are still more of a struggle since Brielle arrived, but all in all he is doing well as a big brother.

His latest thing is that he wants to do everything Brielle is doing (basically, get my attention). If I am feeding her a bottle he is thirsty, too. If Im putting lotion on her face his face is suddenly feeling very dry. He is asking to be carried instead of walking much more lately (I'll take cuddle time from my big guy however I can get it). And when I took her two month pictures he wanted his picture taken, too. (This from my boy whose attention I can never get for taking pictures).
